On our first day of this trip. Planning is terrible. It is uncoordinated, poorly executed and very, very stressful. So far, we've been promised two meals a day, and not provided any, or even time to shop for our own. Arrived at airport by bus over three hours before flight, but didn't even start going through security (food stands are inside security) until 10 minutes before boarding. Arrived at connecting airport at 12:30 (still no food), and then have an 8 hour layover until overnight flight to Europe. Where we will immediately go sightseeing and again, no food provided until supper. I feel cheated. But trying to hope for a good next 19 days. Beware, I highly recommend you do NOT travel with Voyageurs International. Oh, and the first Voyageurs Employee we met actually said to our group, "get it through your thick heads" in reference to some caution he was giving, we stopped trying to listen through airport background noise at that insult. This before he rambled on with barely related examples as our time to get through security dwindled. Update: In Paris, the coordinators are efficient and personable - but the food is not even edible for your suppers. American cafeteria food is ten times better. And we are in Paris! As we've traveled through several countries, the coordinators have consistently stayed personable and efficient. Food, hotels have been very good in Switzerland, Austria. Still the pace is brutal for long hours on busses - all tourist stops, no local connections. Stay with the avoid recommendation.

I just got back from the Europe tour with my daughter as an Ambassador of music. We had an amazing trip! Some of the positives were the amount of things we got to see and do in a short amount of time and the organization of our tour, it was awesome! The city coordinators were helpful and kind at each stop. The negatives for us were the food! We were provided two meals a day and our group had chicken and fries 9 times on our tour! No fruit, no vegetables just cheap chicken and French fries. We ended up spending a lot more on food than we had anticipated because of it. Some busses got incredible food throughout the trip, I don't know why I paid the same amount and got junk food? Also, I was very annoyed that the best accommodations at each hotel and on the busses were given to the children and adults that were traveling for free on the tour. We were in a musty basement with no view while the directors daughter got a suite to herself with a view and two balconies. This happened at each location. I paid for them to go! I would definitely recommend traveling to Europe with a tour, I can't imagine trying to do it alone but maybe not this company.

Terrible planning, lots of confusion, not really worth the money. The trip is fun but full of driving and waiting. I would recommend trying another company like EF or something like that.
