I booked a rafting trip on the Pacuare River in Costa Rica for 5 people through Green Frog. The booking process was very smooth and easy. They sent me a detailed list of things we would need on the trip, time to meet and an easy to use location link. The trip itself was phenomenal! Our guide and the support kayak rider were both very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. They set up an amazing lunch for us on the shore where we were able to see dart frogs and other wildlife. They shuttled our vehicle to the take out point on the river. All in all it was a fun and convenient trip we will never forget. I highly recommend this company to anyone rafting in Costa Rica. They will be my first choice should I ever go back.

I was organizing a group of 40 people for a trip to Costa Rica. I found Green Frog on Tripadvisor as some other people there were asking about their reputation as a tour operator. It seemed that Green Frog was not one of the largest and most well-known tour operators in Costa Rica and not a lot of people knew about them. That is why I feel obligated to post a positive review for them after my own very pleasant experience with them. I would like to let more people know that Green Frog is an excellent tour operator that focuses on doing customized tours for both large and small groups. I worked with Travis who is based in the US. He was always very responsive and easy to reach. He explained things in details and was very patient when I had to change things around to accommodate individual needs in a large group. He was very quick putting together a tour that fit our plan and found good hotels for us that could accommodate our large group in the busiest week of the year. In fact, when I asked for quote from another much bigger tour operator for this trip, they told me that "Green Frog is a very good company." This came from a competitor before we decided which company we would use! In the end, we decided to take a different itinerary proposed by a different tour operator. But I had such a great experience with Green Frog that I would like to share my experience so they can get the recognition they deserve.

Absolutely amazing! Eight of us had the time of our lives on the three day Pacuare River Adventure. Personalized service, excellent guides, unbelievable nature, delicious food and a magically refilling beer and wine cooler that we never found the bottom of. The "camp" (pretty comfy to be calling it that) is in one of the most beautiful settings in Costa Rica and the only hard part was putting down our coffee and dragging ourselves out of the Adirondack chairs overlooking the river to go enjoy the day's adventures. Green frog did an amazing job with a complicated itinerary (our group split up after the river and there were rental cars delivered, shuttles to catch and extra baggage to retrieve) and it all went smooth as silk. We'll be back!

I haven't actually used GFA yet but I called to get some information about it and talked to a representative named Travis. He gave me some excellent information about Costa Rica in genera unrelated to what he is selling. I appreciate that a lot. It just left such a great impression on me that I thought he should get some google kudos.
