My husband and I have been members of GVN for years. The people, the service, the kindness shown to us, the thoughtfulness - all have been and continue to be excellent. We love vacationing in condos vs. hotel rooms and every unit we've stayed in, except one, has been wonderful! Our one bad experience concerned a particular unit we were booked into, not the resort itself or the service from GVN. There is no way we could afford 2 or 3 weeks away in beautiful condos in gorgeous resort areas without GVN! Now that we're retired, we're looking forward to more frequent use of our membership!

I got a call on a weekend morning to make a decision as to which part of the country I would like to go for a 3-day 2-night vacation. I think it is a LITTLE difficult to make the decision. I first spoke to a representative and said that I might consider but I will talk to the manager who would be calling me after 5 minutes. The manager calls me and before anything I tell him that I am not interested. The guy got so upset and asked me very rudely as to why I was not interested. (what a ridiculous question) I said that I was not interested in going to the places they mentioned to me. OMG! That guy got so defensive and spoke so rudely to me. His quotes from our conversation 1. I don't know about your time but my time and my representative's time is very precious 2. Go and tell whatever you want (when I told him that I will have to give bad reviews if he continues to speak that way) 3. You Indians are like this. And he hung up the phone. There must be an option of 5 thorns instead of 1 star.

My husband went on a Global Vacation Network excursion to Lake Tahoe! He was amazed the whole trip! The resort was spacious (multiple bedrooms), the scenery was in the valley of a scenic mountainous region. He still talks about how incredible the accommodations were. After reading some of the comments on the internet I was cautious. But after research and talking to some of my friends who have the membership, I think a real key to successfully using the service is learning how it works!

Notice all of the reviews clustered around the same date with 5 stars? Hello scam. Do not trust companies like this. They are not accredited by the Better Business Bureau and have a d+-c+ rating. Use expedia or other sites. Reputable and good deals.
