Feb 2, 2016
I called Breakaway,or whatever, on 1/25/2016 and spoke to Kathy. Asked for trip/tour options, gave specific dates and was asked for names and ages of all persons traveling. I was told I would have to wait until next week. I informed her that I didn't expect anything booked, but would like a ballpark price and I gave her a few scenarios. She sent me a link to some tour company they use. I informed her that the information on the link seemed too expensive and I offered her another scenario. When I asked her if she could just give me a ballpark, she also pointed out to me that my trip was not until August. That was last week! Today, on 2/2, after hearing not a word from her, I called her to inquire. She seemed surprised by my call and asked me if I looked at the link she sent me. When I reminded her that I had responded to that last week, she proceeded to tell me how busy they were and said "we've got a lot going on around here!" I told her thanks anyway and I ended the call. Even if you are busy, it wouldn't hurt to stay in touch with your potential customers. As I said, I didn't expect an exact, just some type of idea, particularly, since she made it clear that she been to the area and knew everything that I would need to know. Just because my trip isn't until August doesn't make me any less interested in planning it, which is why I called you in the first place.
