(In 2016) Three of us had 4 great hunts a couple years ago north of Buenos Aires, accommodations were close to the hunting fields, transportation was plenty nice, guns were working fine, no big problems with ammunition, and booking with Ben was straight forward and easy. Cano was the host and was accommodating. Pedro was down there some of the time but had very little to mess up. The food and wine here was fair compared to estancias at other locations. (In 2017) I returned taking about 7 buddies with me for a second time and it was exactly the opposite. The host named Pedro was really the exact opposite experience as the time we had before. Unaccommodating, guns constantly jamming (like every 5 rounds) and probably because of the cheap shells. The fields were shot to heck, wads all over the place clearly showing that they were overhunted and no other places to hunt. We stayed within the same 50 acres the entire time as millions of birds flew a mile high in the air for like 6 hunts. We didn't even shoot 3000 shells a piece. Most other times I have been to Argentina, Bolivia, Uruguay we will sometimes shoot 1500-3000 shells per hunt or per day on a slow day. Pedro literally drove 100 mph at times driving like crazy both going to the fields and getting us to the airport. Some young lady with red hair that we did not know ended up in the van headed back to the airport as several of us got car sick in the back from the eradic driving. Concensus amongst a bunch of grown men was that he was just a jerk. Most of this I have shared with Ben. We played phone tag afterwards for awhile and then lost touch. Will not return to this location and to consider this review when booking your next hunt.
