I absolutely LOVE Sunnyvale Martial Arts Academy, Teri, Jian, and B! This is a truly special place and one of the absolute BEST academies in all of the nation... Without a doubt! As a professional MMA fighter for 13 years, since I was 19 years old, and as a lifelong martial artist, I can tell you that this staff is AMAZING! The culture of the school is so encouraging and empowering, for any level, for any age! If I get to the Bay Area I HAVE to stop by and see these incredible people. They are also incredibly giving and support the community and causes they believe in. If you are looking for the top place to start trying out martial arts, or looking for a new home, you’ve found it! At least come out and give it a try.

If you want a great learning experience taught by world-class martial artists, Sunnyvale Martial Arts Academy is the right place for you. KJN Teri Lee started this school over 30 years ago, and she has assembled an amazing group of instructors and students. Even with some classes being very big, each student gets individualized attention designed to make the most of that student's potential -- mentally, physically and spiritually. The next generation of instructors is just as committed to giving students a great experience. KJN Jian (Teri's son) and his contemporaries bring a wealth of experience in the different disciplines taught here -- from Taekwon Do to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to kempo and muay thai styles -- you will learn the techniques, from basic to advanced, in order to round out your self-defense knowledge.

Great instructors. My 5 year old has been going for a few months and loves it, and even my 4 year old is getting into it thanks to the Sunday afternoon class.

My son went in this academy for almost one and half years . During this period my son got lot of purchased accessory except learning marshal art. They keep moving student from one belt to another belt so that they can sell more accessory. They charge huge testing fee even though most of the tester are old student. Once you in this academy and try to cancel it they will with feedback they will try to harash you like anything. Even after taking for month when i complain about qualty and instruter behaviour, Owner of this acadmy pulled my son from the class so rudely . When owner of the acadamy doest not have manner how they can teach manner to student .. wors ever experinece in my life with any institute . Parents need to teach them lesson by not sending there kids blidnly .
