Can't say enough about the people at Kodokan YYC! My daughter has been a part of this club for a year now and shes so much more confident in herself. I recently joined and now have my younger daughter taking classes too. I'd recommend this club to anyone!

Great club with a friendly atmosphere. Great instructors who will help you progress your jits skills. Great people to train with. Great facility with a lot of clean mat space. Tony the Tiger said it best “They’re GREAT!!!”.

I was in Calgary for work and decided to train at Kodokan YYC with Professor Randy. With minimal advanced notice Randy and everyone at Kodokan welcomed me there. The instruction was top notch, facilities clean and the rolls were tough, couldn’t ask for a better place to visit! Thank you Prof Randy and everyone I appreciate the friendly environment!!

This is by far the best BJJ gym in Calgary. No one else compares. Prof. Walton and Randy will help you grow your skillset as well as teach you lessons that can be applied to your daily life. The instructors care about you and your progress. They take the time to encourage you to get better. Another good thing is that the gym is clean and spacious. I definitely recommend it 10/10.

Kodokan has been a family to me ever since I've joined. The quality of instruction is outstanding, I feel like I have learned so much and have every opportunity to succeed. I will never look back. If you are on the fence about trying it out, do it!
