I'm training for 4 months now at Pacific Martial Arts, and I'm really enjoying it. Before moving to the US, I practiced during 5 years in Europe 15 years ago, and as a brown belt, I'm very picky on the level of training. This DOJO has in my opinion, a very good balance between the sports side and the philosophical side of martial art. After only 4 months, I feel part of the club.

I wish we had found this dojo years ago! Every instructor here is wonderful! My son is usually the oldest and tallest and least experienced in class, but he has fun, sweats and learns discipline every time. Pacific Martial Arts makes us both so happy!!! Thank you Jason Knight! You will be hooked on PMA from day one!

My son has only been attending for 7 months and I've already seen a remarkable improvement in his confidence level and an excitement for class. Mr. Knight and the entire staff not only teach karate, but also talk to the students about how to apply the lessons and ideas to life outside the dojo.

My kids go to mini and micro-ninjas and they love it - the teachers are incredible role models and amazing at keeping a class of young kids engaged, learning and paying attention. The teachers model respect and patience when talking to students and each other. They have a really fun way of teaching karate fundamentals - my kids love it so much they take turns at home being karate teacher and student and they show that they are really learning and retaining so much. I appreciate how the teachers hold all of the kids to a high standard and clear rules but if a kid is losing focus their first instinct is to try to engage and include them, not punish them. The micro and mini-ninja classes seem really thoughtfully designed to be appropriate for each age group.

Their payment draft agreement is the worst. Prepaid for 3 months and my son stopped attending after a month. So I paid more than what my son attended. Besides not using all that - which I was willing to give up, they drafted additional funds since I had not officially given written notice my son was done. You already took what I prepaid since my son didn't complete the 3 months, did you have to take an additional $200+ just for not sending in an official agreement. When did signing up your son turn into a credit card scam.
