From the moment I walked in to this school, I felt accepted as both a woman and as a person. I went in with an open mind, which I think is a must when starting something exciting and new. I did not have experience with any type of martial art of any kind, though that is not a prerequisite by any means, since they are more than willing to teach anyone who is willing to learn. The Sifu, as well as all the other students, helped show me how effective this style really is as well as helped me develop confidence in uncomfortable situations. Don’t be fooled by the fact that this style of Kung Fu was developed by a woman for a woman; it is an extremely effective, simple and direct style of martial art with a myriad of benefits for any type of person. I’d recommend to everyone to come visit this school and learn what Wai's Kung Fu can do for you!

Wai’s Kung Fu is authentic. From the moment you walk through the doors you feel it - a family, where everyone is there to learn from and support one another. There is a strong sense of personal accountability matched with helpful guidance, constructive feedback, and encouragement from both the senior students and the Sifu. The style is very effective and will challenge you in many ways. If you’re looking for the authentic Chinese martial arts experience come out and visit Wai’s Kung Fu!

I went there with years of other experience in a different martial art. They constantly told me that those years were a wast of time and will not help me in a fight. They also told me that every other art had so many problems that they were also useless. They compared me too a new class member and said that he (with no experience) had a better chance then me(with more experience) would win in a fight. Any style you have, anything you do, will be wrong in their minds.
