When my son Luke wanted to switch from gymnastics to martial arts in 2014, we researched the various martial programs for kids in Victoria. As soon as we attended Fierce Studios for Luke's trial lesson in 2014, it was clear to us that the whole place was exceptional, from their 'avoid the fight' philosophy, to the clarity and self control prevalent in the example set by the teachers, as well as the clean well organized environment, and the 'family-feel' of the staff and owners. Luke has been attending twice a week since 2014, and I continue to be impressed! Thank you Ari and Lindsay, and your exemplary staff, for the fine programs and exceptional school you've created. I highly recommend their programs for young kids!

I signed up for the self defense course with Fierce studio with a friend and didn't expect to be able to do much as I am not terrible strong and am small. I was amazed at how much I could do and how great I felt after the class. I felt empowered! I would highly recommend this course to all women. My husband and I are going to try a Jujitsu class next and I plan to take the self defense course again with my daughter:) The instructors are fantastic.

There are not enough words to describe how much this little, but Fierce community has meant to me for the past several years. The staff are so welcoming, and for the first time, I was able to figure out how to listen to my body and learn yoga. Lindsay is an amazing yoga therapists, and her private sessions helped me immensely with my hip issues. The newer yoga instructors are wonderful too - and really fit in with the vibe at Fierce. . I'm doing some different things at the moment, but I know if the timing works out, I'd go back, and hope to make time for some of the special events like the mantra workshops. My 6 year old son recently finished his first semester of Jiu Jitsu at Fierce. In sum, this was one of the best experiences that I have had with a group of instructors in any sport. In addition to being great role models, they created a challenging yet highly respectful, fun, and supportive environment for the children. We will be back. Thanks, Fierce team!

Gabriel Shaw is an awesome instructor/coach/teacher who is able to gear a class to all levels. I'm a physical therapist & my patients can attest I ranted for months about how great his Tai Chi in the Park class is. I don't think I've ever found a class that causes my muscles to relax so immediately. You can tell he is on your side no matter what. I also really appreciate all his insights for helping us to develop more awareness of ourselves, both mentally & physically. Highly recommended instructor for anyone looking to reduce pain, feel better, or build resiliency.
