Nothing but good things to say about Posener's. Instructors are great! Simon and the team of instructors are very knowledgeable in all the disciplines that encompass mixed martial arts and they are able to teach it and share their knowledge no matter what level you are at. Big spacious clean facilities, plenty of classes on offer. The membership rates are very competitive compared to other places in Vancouver. I always felt Simon and the team have the students best interests at heart, rather than pressuring and sucking them into a membership program for the sake of $$, the same can't be said about other martial art gyms I've had experience with. The gym environment is very positive and it often feels like a closely knit community. I would recommend this gym to anyone who has an interest in Mixed Martial Arts or Muay Thai no matter what level you are at, whether you are a pure beginner or someone that wants to compete. Or if you just want to get fit and learn practical self defense their Cardio Muay Thai classes are highly recommended for that.

I've been with Posener's Pankration for a long time and wouldn't go else where. I've always felt welcome and have grown a lot from being in this martial arts school. The instructors are great and always teaching good fundamentals and advance martial arts moves. Since I have been a part of the team/family for this long, I have brought my son to the school as well. He also enjoys it and has grown a lot from being in the school. If there is a school I would suggest checking out, it would be this one.

I can't comment on enough good things about my time training at Posener's Pankration. Simon and the entire training staff hold a wealth of knowledge on all martial arts disciplines that are offered at the gym. I have always felt the training staff have had my best interests in mind, which makes it easy to ask them any questions you may have. They truly want you to succeed and get the most out of your time at the gym. The training environment is terrific, and classes are taught in a way that makes it easy for an absolute beginner to attend, while also incorporating more complex drills for those with more experience. I felt welcomed by all my training partners, and other members of the gym, on the very first day I arrived. I have appreciated the support of the other gym members, and the positivity, encouragement, and accepting gym community, which really helps you learn and develop. The facility is quite large and has something for everyone. The class schedule makes it convenient to train in as many disciplines as you want; whether you want to train for fun, fitness, or to compete. In my opinion, Posener’s has everything needed in a martials arts training facility, and the membership rates are exceptionally competitive compared to other facilities in the area – most of which do not offer the same variety of disciplines and class schedule, in addition to professional experience of the training staff. I would recommend Posener's to anyone looking to experience all of the great things that I have during my time here.

Amazing place to train MMA! Simon, George and Costa are great instructors. And all the staff are very friendly and helpful. I especially love the Zen meditation at the beginning and end of the traditional classes.

found Simon to be obnoxious. i was away for few weeks due to personal reasons and he questioned me. i told him it was due to work and he says oh you weren't smoking crack. very unprofessional comment to say to a paying customer. he wanted me to sign up and even offered me free one month or 4 free drops ins . i declined. sometimes it not the deals but environment and feelings you have for gym George makes comments that are kind lewd. The instructor for afternoon class Juian and Andrew are fine. good thing is their classes aren't huge compared to other mma schools. Oh dont get me wrong. It was enough for me to quit poserners and decided to try another gm
