I never would have expected a martial arts gym to be so friendly and welcoming! From the first moment in the gym, the instructors were helpful, friendly, and high energy! I'm so happy these guys are in in the West end! Would recommend for anyone! Best gym ever!

Really friendly staff. I’m new/a beginner and there are mostly regulars but I felt very welcome. I signed up for a membership. I attached the current scheduling for this location FYI.

I've been training at UFK Martial arts for two and a half years. I'm impressed with the respect and kindness that I have received over the years. The trainers are professional and courteous, They care a lot about people, it's a safe place for everyone to come. I highly recommend UFK martial arts for everyone.

Andrew is very helpful. I came in to support my sister and felt like I wasn't going to participate in any of the activities. Next thing I know, I'm helping my sister train with Andrew by our side coaching the both of us. I left the class feeling energized. 10/10 would recommend

I started training with Von almost two years ago. At first we did self-defense but are now focusing on kick boxing and building strong (but lean) muscles. As a 68 years old woman, my vision of martial arts is more holistic than it was when I was doing karate at 18 or even Tae Kwon Do 10 years ago: I NEED to understand everything I learn, and Von has been patient, and extremely knowledgeable, in explaining how the body works, how it compensates for weaknesses, how to replace an entire gym with a rubber strap, how not to injure the joints, how to lose weight but develop strong muscles, how to develop muscle memory, how to fast, how to do daily routines in 10 minutes, how to develop balance. And I love that gym! It has all the equipment I need; it's clean. And it has a special perk for me: There is one glass in one of the windows that shakes a little when I hit specially hard; this is when Von says “Did you hear the window?”
