Absolutely love it here. All the coaches are so awesome and everyone here inspires me to push myself further and further. Shout out to Alex in particular for always being so encouraging. I still haven't forgotten your comment (on the effort I put in) from my first day and it's been a big motivator every time I feel like giving up. Thank you.

One word AWESOME! I was skeptical at first because I’m a petite 5â€3 agreeable sophisticated female who generally gravitates towards yoga and spin class, not your typical martial arts “profile†if I may say. Nevertheless, after only 3 trial classes I was hooked! The staff/ instructors are very welcoming and friendly. They are also very understanding and accommodating which is very rare to find these days. I’ve never felt judged or out of place at Lions MMA, on the contrary, I felt empowered! The way the classes are separated in groups (beginners in one and intermediate/ advance in another) really helps you focus on your technique without feeling overwhelmed. The women’s only classes are great too and they are conditioning intensive which I really enjoy. It’s a great workout! The ambiance is fun and the other members are friendly, helpful, and non-judgmental. I met a lot of interesting people at the gym. Give a free trial class a try, you won't be disappointed!

Lions MMA is a school that truly cares not only for the participants but also the surrounding community. Through fundraisers and in-house activities they raise not only money but an awareness of important areas in the community that need support. The kids program has grown from a few kids to a well established and well rounded program that teach children more than martial arts, they learn about setting goals and support them in teaching them. They also have a women’s only class. The instructors are top notch and very approachable. Overall a great school.

Lions MMA was extremely welcoming to me as a visitor while I was visiting Vancouver from Ontario. A great facility with friendly coaches and an awesome team. Thank you for everything! Highly recommended!

I initially chose Lions MMA for their central location, but I was super impressed by the quality of instruction and friendly atmosphere! Everything that has been written about the relaxed and open energy is absolutely correct. Unfortunately, I injured my elbow a couple of months in but they've been so accommodating and understanding about putting my membership on hold. It was a relief to not have to worry that on top of recovering. Very glad I found this place!
