Both my 5 year old son and I train at ''Gracie Barra Vancouver'' and we couldn't be happier with this dojo. I have trained martial arts for a good part of my life and am now 36. I was pretty serious when I was younger, but now I am looking for a dojo to just train and stay in shape. GB Vancouver offers me that. Don't get me wrong, there are definitely world class competitor's who train at this dojo, but they are all very respectful and adjust their intensity to match my skill and intensity. The owner "Professor Rodrigo" is always smiling and positive. A genuine pleasure to be around. I would definitely recommend this dojo to anyone young or old, looking for anything from getting in shape to becoming the next jujitsu world champion. Thank you for the great experience "Gracie Barra Vancouver."

After signing up for a free class at Gracie Barra Vancouver, I found it was an amazing experience. The staff was very welcoming, friendly and the instructors were top notch. Best gym I’ve been to so far, and they didn’t put too much pressure me to join like most places. Can’t say enough good things about it other than go try a free class!

Gracie Barra is home away from home. Everyone is welcoming and very warm. I been a student not for long and already feel like I been a long time there. Classes are hard(according to your knowledge) but they fun and very rewarding 😊. Many classes and times for you to choose from. Respect, dedication, and hard work are qualities that you learn in this place, and much more.

I've been training at Gracie Barra Vancouver for a little over half a year now and honestly i have to say that it's like my home far away from home. What I like the most is the patient, challenging and at the same time inviting atmosphere it has. A place where you can find the beginner guy (like me) or a tough advanced competitor living in perfect harmony, without egos, learning and growing through the path of a beautiful respectful martial art. The instructors are really friendly and always answering questions or going into further details. You have a lot of time, that's ok they have a schedule for you, very few time, no worries they would have a schedule for you. The schedule is as broad as you can imagine. Which is great for you to integrate it with your daily life. I am very proud to be part of the Gracie Barra Vancouver family and to represent it everywhere life takes me. To all the staff and professors over there i would like to thank you for all the patience, the faith and hours spent in everyone of us. Definitely one of the best parts of my days.

It's been almost 2 years at GB. I still can remember, I've never felt as part of a family as today. The whole crew are amazing, starting with the reception and comes to all instructors and professors. I can't wait to see my baby grow up and enroll him at kids program to follow the same dream as mine. I really recommend everyone to know the amazing "gentle art".
