Westcore Training Centre

Really enjoy my sessions here because of the individualized attention given to specific needs. It really helps to have someone help with correct technique. I have seen real progress in my physical fitness since I have been going to Westcore.

i joined this gym nearly 2 years ago and have not regretted it for a moment. it's great not having to decide what routine to follow, it's been thoughtfully created, i simply do the work. the approach to full body, functional training is appreciated in day to day living and especially in the world of competitive dragon boating. the premises are clean and well laid out, i quite like the "pods" that have been erected due to covid. the staff are always friendly, welcoming and knowledgable and on very lucky days i get to have a wee visit with two beautiful dogs. it's practically an oasis, i highly recommend checking it out.

I do ju jitsu there

Very knowledgeable staff and great place to train. I had zero experience working out and had never even been to a gym before so it was intimidating to try and get into shape but Westcore made it easy and fun. I highly recommend it.

I don't normally write negative reviews, but as a former client and a partner of a former Westcore employee, I believe gym-seekers should be aware of some key issues. Most of the trainers deservedly credited in the below reviews have resigned from Westcore because of the managers' shameful business practices and breaches of Employment Standards regulations. There is a total lack of transparency, consistency and record-keeping in the pricing structure, with customers manipulated into paying thousands of dollars in advance for "non-refundable" sessions. The owner may appear charming at first, but his public boasts on social media about his income and materialistic purchases raise questions about his principles as a business owner and service provider. I'm also curious to know whether he is even legally entitled to work with children as a Jiu-Jitsu instructor. The changing facilities are pretty poor and the training equipment is often faulty, with its lack of maintenance raising concerns about the managers' care for client safety. Anyone who is serious about investing in their long-term fitness and getting real value for their money should consider going to another gym with staff that are actually certified fitness trainers.

Very knowledgeable and kind personal trainers. Came to Westcore in October 2017 for a free trial and felt very comfortable since day one. The owner really took the time to understand my goals and set me up with the right trainer. I find the prices to be affordable compared to other personal training gyms after doing some shopping around. Chill atmosphere and good music is always on! I would recommend Westcore for sure. Also, I've never been in better shape! Just wanted to send some love!

I have been training at Westcore with personal trainers and have tried all of their classes. I highly recommend Westcore Training for the community, atmosphere, vibe and professionalism. All the staff are very professional and fun! The workouts are offered at great times throughout the day and are for all fitness levels. For the overall experience, equipment and classes that are offered the price is awesome!!!
