After we moved to Illinois, my wife and I were in search of a gym. We came across Flo and we decided to give it a try. Ever since our first class, they made us feel like family. All the coaches and staff are always very welcoming. We are thankful that we found a gym that believes and strives on motivating and supporting others.

I joined Flo during a transition in my fitness journey, looking for something that would help me sustain my weight loss and progress—not just temporarily, but long-term. At first, I wasn’t sure if it was the right fit, but after trying the Strength and Conditioning class, I knew I had found the perfect mix. What keeps me coming back is the accountability—just showing up to class makes a difference—and the variety. Every workout is different, challenging, and keeps me engaged. I’ll be honest: during my second class, I thought, there’s no way I’m going to make it through this. But now, I’m not just sustaining—I’m exceeding my own expectations. I’ve fully embraced a healthier lifestyle. Going to the gym has become such a big part of my routine that I actually feel off when I miss a day. I’m stronger and more in shape now than I was in my 20s—and I’m a mom of two! The coaches at Flo are incredible, and Coach Brett in particular knows exactly how to push you further than you think you can go. Because of my experience, I’ve brought both my husband and a friend along, and I recommend Flo to anyone looking to truly transform—not just physically, but mentally and emotionally too.

If you're thinking about joining, this is your sign. This boxing gym is everything. From day one, the energy hits different — it's empowering, it's intense, and it's real. Cardio kickboxing here isn't just a workout; it's therapy, confidence training, and strength building all rolled into one. The coaches? Unmatched. They don't just teach you how to throw a punch — they remind you that the power was always in you. You just had to learn how to use it. They push you, support you, and hype you up when you forget how strong you really are. I've never left a class without feeling stronger — mentally and physically. This place builds more than muscle; it builds belief in yourself.

I can’t say enough positive things about the community at FLO! My son who is 7 years old has attended Flo’s youth boxing/kick-boxing classes for about 3 months now and I recently signed up for their adult strength & conditioning classes. My son really enjoys his boxing classes with Coach Brett and Coach Stephanie. They challenge the kids for sure, but make the classes fun at the same time. He is learning so much, and getting stronger/more confident with every class. Adult strength & conditioning classes take place at about the same time as the youth classes (which I was already taking my son to) so I decided to give it a try since I was there anyways. I was nervous, since I haven’t worked out in months, but I am so happy I did! Coach Vince was very accommodating my first class by modifying challenging workouts and offering feedback. The others in class were very nice and I really felt a sense of community. I’m excited to continue workouts at FLO and would definitely recommend to any one no matter their fitness level.

FLO is a great place to workout. Coach Brett is the best and thanks to him I have never been stronger. I actually look forward to my 6 AM workouts.
