Beware with these guys. They are all the same/ My kids go to the Oak Brook facility but they are nothing but scam. it is a shame they are using the beautiful name of Martial Art.. Not a good service for that much payment...

Save your money. My son liked the Championship Martial Arts well enough. What ultimately made me pull him out and find a much better place was the nickel-and-dime business strategy of this place and very little passion for the art they teach. They treat skill advancement as a profit center charging $60 for belt testing, $40 for a handful of wooden boards, $200 for safety gear, $80 for Gi, etc, etc. And then there is this: my son was absent for 3 weeks because of getting cold after cold. One of the instructors called. How nice - I thought, they really care and wanted to see what's up with my son - right? (After all, the swimming place called after only second absence.) But, no- just selling an upgrade to higher level class. Not a word about how my son is doing. While instructors are well liked by the kids, after several months I still had to see the owner of the place crack a smile once. She seems to always be "at work" rather than having fun, what with all the kids around. I found a place for my son that displays true passion for what they try to teach, don't overcharge and genuinely care for kids' development.

I love this place! My boyfriend bought some classes for me for my birthday and I've been hooked ever sense. I love the inviting and inclusive environment. There is no judgement in your skill level and instructors are patient and work with your skill level. I also enjoy that there are students if every level in each class. I especially enjoy the kickboxing classes in Wednesday night and Saturday morning. I consistently work out in a gym weekly however these classes seem to be the only time I can get a good sweat going. I would definitely recommend this place, it's worth every penny!

There are so many things I love about CMA. The instructors have great instincts for reaching the younger students and making sure they get the most out of class. The approach is often humorous, always gentle, very consistent, and firm enough to help instill those important life lessons. This month we're learning about sportsmanship, how using kind words and following the rules keeps competition fun and safe for everyone. Master Kristin Miller is a great role model for all little girls. Instructors Sanjin and Theodore are a great team to lead classes for all age ranges. Highly recommend.

We love this place . Our son is always very excited to participate in the classes and loves the sparing class in particular. The instructors are so dedicated and we like how they use martial arts concepts and discipline for the kids to apply in their life outside the class.
