Sam Ng and Philip Ng created an open learning culture. If you work hard and have the right attitude, they will teach you everything they know without holding back.

It becomes very clear to anyone just walking in that may be curious about beginning training at the Ng Family Chinese Martial arts Association that it is a "kung fu school" or "martial arts academy" in name only; in reality it is a true family atmosphere in the purest sense. The instruction is top-notch and the lineage of the arts taught there (choy lay fut, ving tsun and taijiquan) is as solid as they come. What separates the NFMA school from the rest is both the pure and undiluted transmission of knowledge from instructor to student, the attention to detail placed in all phases of learning and the genuine sense of belonging that anyone who trains there, from raw beginners to longtime members, has to the school and the NFMA family. Everyone there is always glad to see you, help you in any way with your training or offer assistance or clarification on a technique or concept. Everyone helps one another out and as a result, everyone improves. Great family atmosphere, knowedgable and patient instructors and intense yet fun training...you can't ask for anything more in one place.

Have been studying Wing Chun at NFMAA for almost 2 years. Scientific approach to WC concepts with practical training. This school treats its students like family, with support and encouragement and no ego. A great place to train!

I started learning Wing Chun here in 2009, where we are taught to put more emphasis on structure than hands. It's details like these that build a great foundation to learning more advanced sparing techniques, which come in handy when other systems the school offers such as Choy Lay Fut, boxing, etc. The school has taught me more than just self defense and fighting, but also the concepts of why what we do works from a physical, mathematical, and anatomical point of view. The environment is friendly and I always come out satisfied with the work I put in.
