Training style is a perfect balance-disciplined but fun, competitive but friendly. It's a great place for young people, feels like a big family!

Karate is the worst martial art because you always move robotically.

If you are somebody who wants to accomplish something, get fit, have a good time and discover confidence as well as discipline; this dojo is the right place for you. I have been doing karate for 7 years now and I love it. Whether I am practicing sport karate or traditional karate, I feel a sense of place. The sport karate along with the guidance of Sensei Angelo Mendoza has kept me fit over the years and has taken me to not only represent Manitoba on the provincial team, but Canada on the National team as well as earning a total of 22 medals. Not only has this dojo given me the opportunity to improve myself, but others as well. I have had the amazing chance to be an assistant during one of the younger classes and It has allowed my to share all of my experiences with the younger generation who will soon go on to represent our province or country later. Given all of this competition talk, karate is not for a certain age, height or level of athleticism; anyone can do it. With the accepting, respectful and challenging environment you can accomplish anything that you put your mind to.

Our son has been attending classes at the dojo for 2 years. It is a challenging, respectful, competitive and welcoming environment. Sensei Mendoza is a phenomenal leader and teacher. He provides and instills the values and structure that we share in our household. We couldn't be happier with the dojo, the amazing persons that attend and teach there and the results!
