Jonathan and his wife were excellent to deal with! Very clean, well organized, and great people. I highly recommend this studio for your child.

This is an amazing place . Everyone is super enthusiastic and they really know how to work with the kids. My young daughter took classes for about 6-12 months and loved it.

We absolutely LOVE Toraguchi Martial Arts Centre. After trying numerous karate and martial arts programs in Oakville, we are so happy that we found Toraguchi. My daughter started when she was 3.5 years old and my son started at 2.5 years of age and we have been there ever since. Both of my children have benefited from their kinder program and we have seen a tremendous amount of growth in their skill level as well as their overall confidence. The curriculum, attention to individual students and positive interactions have resulted in noticeable changes in their behaviour and ability to speak up for themselves. The life lessons and report card cards that are discussed at the gradings are completely in line with the values we teach at home, which is wonderful support. My children absolutely love their Sensei, their two Senpais, and Mr. Easton. We look forward to attending all of our karate classes (3-4x a week), and all of the karate events that Toraguchi takes part in in the Oakville community. The flexible schedule also provides opportunities to make up classes when the kiddies are sick or have conflicting school events. We cannot express how much we have loved our time with Toraguchi and their entire karate community.

To me, the three most important things about selecting a dojo is the people, the quality of instruction, and the flexibility of the time schedule. Toraguchi has all three plus! Many thanks. ðŸ™ðŸ»

Toraguchi Martial Arts is a Dojo like no other. Our entire family trains here and participates in all of the activities and events that are offered. I started training at the Dojo because I wanted practical experience in the Martial Arts. As a woman, I want to be able to defend myself effectively, should that ever be required. Toraguchi Martial Arts offers unparalleled training. The partner drills, Kata training, self-defense and conditioning work provide extremely well-rounded training, but there is so much more at Toraguchi Martial Arts. Sensei Kenney tirelessly strives to show his young students the importance of personal growth and development of their character as responsible and respectful people. His perfect mix of kindness, dedication and diligence always resonates with both children and adults. He never compromises on his principles and he teaches his students valuable life lessons. You can see his unwavering love for the Martial Arts in the way that he and Senpai Kenney have built not just a Dojo, but a community, where families come together to train and bond. Every time you walk through the door you will know that you and your family are special members of the Dojo. From Senpai McCoy's amazing PA Day camps and rigorous (but always fun and inspiring) classes to Senpai Kenney's warm smile and always helpful attitude, this is a place you will look forward to returning to again and again. Thank you, Sensei, and everyone at Toraguchi Martial Arts for making this like a second home to us.
