In the short 2 months that i trained here, I gained so much valuable knowledge both in Thai fighting, and in self defense. The class size is small, therefore Steve is able to pay close attention to detail and cater to the specific needs of each student. Steve understood that my goal was to learn self defense, and he was able to tailor the class to fit my needs. He always welcomed me to come in early and stay late at no extra charge, and treated my like family from the first day. Steve is also a great teacher, as he will teach each skill in many different ways until it is fully understood. It is clear that the needs of the student are Steve's top priority.

Training with Steve has made me gain a tremendous amount of confidence and knowledge in Muay Thai, grappling, Kali and JKD. Not only do I really enjoy the training sessions because of his willpower, hardwork, dedication and skills, but all of these great qualities motivate me and make me want to come into his sessions even when I am sick. Even with little or no energy, missing a class is almost not an option for me because it truly is a great class. Steve manages to pay attention to every small detail with me, focusing on my punches, kicking, timing, moves, position, and overall everything in order for me to truly succeed. He also always makes sure that I learn skills until fully understood. I can gladly say that my training sessions are with no doubt, extremely beneficial for me because I have learned alot and have Steve as my teacher. 10/10 definately

I have known Steve for 35 years. Along the way he has never stopped learning and progressing or selflessly giving onto others those equally willing. I consider Steve to be a very highly skilled combative specialist. I have learned a lot from him over these years. Things as subtle as being a better person and as dynamic as close quarter engagement, high risk survival skills. To this very day I am still learning from him. No matter what your background is, or your goals or current call to duty, you stand a lot to learn from Steve and Point Blank Martial Arts. Like I did. Sergeant M. Brake (ret'd)

I have studied MMA for over 32 years and have had many diverse and reflective coaches along the way. I found Steve Hyatt and his club just little over a year ago as one of my good friends heard about the club services through another friend. I met with Steve and the rest is history. Steve has really been able to help me focus on what I love. I have had many injuries along the way. Steve focuses on my weakness and shows me how to enjoy without surging continuous pain and that to me is someone I feel comfortable in investing. I get it.....no pain no gain ,although, Steve has capitalized on what matters to me individually. Whether it's one on one or in a group setting, each person is designed differently. He recognizes this and is not coaching to mass produce. He genuinely wants you to succeed and takes the time to listen, direct, coach and even makes his classes fun yet keeping to culture and the art authentic. I just had to stop by and share my experience and happy to have made a friend along the way. Thank you Steve and staff for being unique in a diverse MMA culture we live in today. Looking forward to 2017 with "Point Blank Martial Arts and Fitness"
