My children have been going to NLMA for several years. The business is family owned/run and offers high energy and fun programs all while teaching valuable skills. The owners/staff are always lovely and accommodating during times we have to take a break from coming due to life circumstances.

I am currently taking the kick fit boot camp with Elyse and I would highly recommend this class! Every single class is different and unique! This is my second session, after taking a huge hiatus from my physical fitness. I am feeling so much stronger and more confident every class! Elyse is approachable, encouraging and supportive and offers lots of different alternatives to the exercises! I would urge you to sign up for the next session in the new year to help with those holiday season indulgences!

The Kick Fit Boot Camp at No Limits Martial Arts Oakville is fantastic. I’m getting in the best shape of my life (in my 40s). Every class is different. Our instructor Elyse encourages and pushes us to get the most out of each workout.

My son started up at No Limits 3 years ago when he was 3, almost 4 years old. We joined because of their proximity to our house. We knew he was young and we were concerned about my son’s interest level and focus. However, we were assured that we had purchased into a belt program (orange I believe) and that he has as much time as he needed to complete the program. This was communicated by a man over the phone because I was concerned about paying monthly towards a roughly $2000 investment when fairly quickly, my son had no interest in going. The person on the phone said there was no time limit and he can take as long as he needs. We continued to pay, although my son was not attending, and paid the full amount (minus one payment of $125 roughly because our credit card number changed). Fast forward three years, my son who is now 6 showed more focus and interest. We started attending and I just assumed, based on my previous interaction, that he could just start where he had stopped. However, I was emailed to indicate my son’s program had expired. I went to speak to them and the girl showed me a brochure she just printed off that apparently explained that the program only allowed 18 months in which the belt program had to be completed. Long story short, they wanted me to commit to another belt program - even though they knew I paid $2000 towards an orange belt already. The girl (Elise) seemed to have no business sense and was more determined to be right than trying to negotiate a way we could both be happy. Since then, we have joined another place. They did not bind us to a belt program and they also provided a reasonable three month charge so that kids really get a feel for the program before committing long-term. Please do your due diligence before signing up. And also, keep your contract as I was asked if I still had mine from three years ago to confirm my program did not have a time limit.

Our boys have been coming here for the past 4 years and they love it!! It’s the only activity they do that they’re focused and motivated. The sensei’s are amazing instructors, they’re patient, professional, friendly and make each class enjoyable for the kids. I highly recommend No Limits.
