Great value for the money. Awesome teachers & staff. Very caring & committed. We have been coming here for 2.5 years now. They have be amazing is dealing with my daughter (now a purple belt) who has mental health issues. We originally came here for the athletic part & hopes of seeing some improvement in her mental issues. In this time we have seen her improve & maintain the differences she had achieved in all areas/ levels. We have a younger child we are looking to enroll now. We're confident that it will help him as well. Thank you Coach Jose & staff!

Great place to learn about your body and how to accomplish more with less. It is hard to review this for the average person because the Chinese approach is so counter intuitive at times. Until you get a grasp on Tai Chi it is rather difficult to explain why the Coaches are so good at what they do. Let me use examples of what I've gained: Improved movement of my lower body so that my knees don't hurt as much as they used to. Improved flexibility. Improved stamina. Improved understanding of waist movement as opposed to hip movement. Improved balance. I especially like that the Coaches don't ask me to do things that I can't do (yet). In other martial arts my Coaches or Instructors would demand more than I could give and I often ended up hurting myself. The Coaches here take great care and pay attention to safety and proper movement. Lastly the group is great and very friendly.

Great staff! Very family and community oriented. I take the adult Kung Fu classes and I really appreciate the workout, sense of community, and building on skills that I receive in every class. I started taking classes in January, with no previous martial arts experience, and I have enjoyed working with each coach to develop new skills, and workout. I am finding that I have more confidence, and can apply my skills to other areas of my life such as my current work environment. It is difficult in this day in age to find time for self-care, but I am so glad that I chose Jose Johnson's Chinese Martial Arts and Wellness Center as the place where I go to take a break from work, and care giving at home. I can't thank the coaches enough!

The staff at Jose Johnson's Do Wellness are so caring and considerate. I have arthritis Andrea other mobility issues and the coaches help me figure out adaptations that enable me to still enjoy the class and make progress.
