Professor James is a very knowledgeable and skilled teacher! He has a life long experience in wrestling and other martial arts with official MMA experience. He has a solid teaching curriculum that preserves not only the fundamentals of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu but also the traditional approach towards respecting our partners in a friendly environment. Progression Jiu-Jitsu stands for its name being the best place for white belts to train. Another great advantage in training with him is that he is a Jiu-Jitsu for life team member which allows us to train at any affiliated school around the country when traveling.

Great place to practice bjj! Everyone is welcoming, the instructor is knowledgeable and attentive, and there are many class times. While the focus is on BJJ (gi/no-gi), the instructor has had experience with various martial arts and is willing to help you learn them (and incorporate various techniques into your game). Another thing to note - this gym is under "Jiu-Jistu for Life", making it convenient to train with any gyms in the association (e.g. Toronto BJJ) if you're coming from a different city for school. The only downside is that if you are a student, it isn't particularly easy to get to (it's right next to a bus stop but just a distance away). Despite this, I find the environment, general attitude of the other practitioners, and the instructor worth the trek.

Great dojo! A teacher with passion for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and respect for his students in London Ontario.
