This club has an amazing training regime as well as world-class coaching, this along with a wide variety of training equipment and large mat space makes it one of the best choices in all of Toronto.

One of the best clubs in Canada. With the help of Sensei Alim, my son became twice national champion and won other prestigious awards. You can start as early as 6 year old and get proper foundations.

Challenge Sports Club is a great place to train for both recreational and elite Judo athletes. The facility itself is very spacious and well equipped with everything you need to become a successful athlete, from crash mats and ropes to barbells and weights. All the coaching staffs are very knowledgeable, are great at motivating athletes and also are top notch at teaching and demonstrating various techniques. Even though I am a member of another judo club, every time I visit Challenge Judo Club to train, everyone is very welcoming and willing to help me reach my goals and prepare me for any competition. Sensei Alim is an amazing instructor and coach, he knows many orthodox and unorthodox techniques that are very hard to find anywhere else. Challenge Judo Club is also great because they invite multiple guest instructors and athletes from other countries where judo is very strong to come and train with their athletes, from places such Uzbekistan, Ukraine, and Japan just to name a few. Challenge Judo Club has definitely helped me grow as a Judoka and athlete and has definitely been one of the factors in my success at various Judo competitions.

Sensei Alim Sheykhislyamov is an excellent trainer with superb technique, his work ethic is like no other and he is excellent with his students. I enjoy coming to Challenge Judo Club and learning new things from Sensei Alim as his technique and ideology is like no other. He teaches you how to be both a high performance athlete and a man. His teachings have helped me to succeed in major tournaments. His judo camps are excellent because you get the best trainings three times a day and do fun activities like play soccer, etc. Also he brings guests from all around the world so that you can expand your knowledge of judo; an example being judo athletes from Japan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine. I think highly of Sensei Alim and Judo Club Challenge and I believe that he is one of the best trainers for judo around the world.

Switched to Challenge after going to another club for two years, only positive emotions. After 2 weeks my son won 3 fights from 4 when going to a competition. Now our friends are switching also, looks real fun :)
