If you consider training Martial Arts you should try Ancaster Karate. Sensei Corvino has decades of experience as instructor. You will excel beyond your expectations if you will follow his lead. Great people, great instructions. Classes that focus not only on your body but also on your mind. This training will make you a better human being.

Ancaster Karate is an excellent Karate club - Sensei Corvino instills discipline and stamina in his students. Not only is it impressive to see the black belts perform their katas at the testing events, but it is amazing to see the progress particularly the young students make. My son has attended for more than six years and progressed to the highest grade below black belt (black belts are only achieved at age 16 or older).

I've been training at Ancaster Karate for over 15 years and can attest to the high quality instruction that is offered to all who train here. Traditional Karate at its best, Sensei Corvino's ability to communicate the most technical aspects of the art is something rarely seen anywhere else. Sensei has preserved the true standards of excellence in Karate, the training lets us become better at everything we do.

Luckily for me my parents found Ancaster Karate Club and enrolled me under the direction of Sensei Ralph Corvino. Now, 13 years later I'm in my mid twenties still learning every day from Sensei. From martial arts philosophy to a simple reminder to look up at the stars once in awhile and be grateful for all that we have. Students at Ancaster Karate learn self defense through kata training and detailed application of each movement in a safe controlled environment. There is no Karate without Kata. The training builds self-esteem and confidence that manifests into everyday living. It requires the use of your mind, body and spirit. All lifestyle's can benefit from training here, as we are tought to overcome adversity and to never give up. I hold the utmost respect and gratitude for Sensei R. Corvino and the Ancaster Karate Club

I am so thrilled we found Ancaster Karate, both for my kids and for myself. My three boys attend karate, and I attend the adult tai chi class. The dojo is a truly special place, and Sensei Corvino is a wise, kind, and dedicated teacher. I know my kids are deeply privileged to be able to study here. For myself, I wish I could attend more often, as every time I go to Ancaster Karate I walk away feeling connected, focused, and renewed.
