I've been an adult student of both the fitness and karate classes for the past 14 years. They have the best quality karate and fitness program in the city...hands down. This school has made me more confident and stronger in every aspect of my life. The teachers and students became part of my family. I'm so grateful that I found the courage to call them 14 years ago for a free trial class.

I’ve been training karate at John Leroux’s World KarateFIT center for 16+ years, and worked there for 10 years. I originally joined because my friend was already training there, but what I got out of it has been so much more - confidence, improved self-esteem, discipline, leadership skills, public speaking, long lasting friendships, and of course fitness. My training over all helped me improve my skills in other sports I participated in as well. The staff are warm, and welcoming, creating an environment/community that is family oriented and made it feel like my second home. Over the years I got to know Hanshi John (owner) very well, and consider him an inspiring role model and father figure. Though I had to put a pause on my training (due to post-secondary education in another city) it has made me who I am today and I know that I will always have a community that will welcome me back with open arms.

At first My son became a member in the kinder karate program and has since moved into the leadership program and really enjoys his time training with the various instructors. They offer him a positive enjoyable environment and challenging classes to keep looking forward to the next one. I myself have joined their adult karate program plus Kfit classes and definitely feel a difference in my physical fitness and love the patience and encouragement the staff have which makes you keep coming back for more. All the staff are amazing and I could not imagine my son or myself training anywhere else. Richard Blackburn.

I love training at this Dojo. It has a great atmosphere and i’m always learning new moves that push my limits. I’ve been training for over 5 years and find the teachers very competent, friendly and very enthusiastic. They keep me motivated and hungry to train more. Even through the pandemic, they did everything to keep us active, thank you for being so supportive.

I love working out at this dojo! The dynamic between the fellow participants and the coaches is energetic and friendly; your coaches feel like mentors. This environment is not only highly motivating, but there’s a community built that welcomes everyone with open arms. Go once, and you’ll definitely keep going. Plus, they’ve got a KILLER playlist!
