My daughter has been going to Jindo for 3 years and just attained Black Belt rank. The teachers are great and know every student personally, you are not just another number or check here! There are also adult fitness classes going on during class times which is great. I love working out at the same time my daughter is training. Lisa and the entire staff at Jindo are amazing and my decision to come here was definitely the right one.

Jindo Martial Arts is awesome in my book. Miss Lisa has done wonders with my son. My son has many issues and Miss Lisa has gotten down to his level, including sitting on the floor with in order to talk directly with him. Through myself and Jindo Martial Arts, my son has learned that it is important to respect others and treat others kindly. My son has gained some self confidence, integrity and understanding that he can do whatever he puts his mind to. Miss Lisa and her instructors make exercising and challenging patterns a fun learning experience. Miss Lisa also stresses the importance of completing homework as it is all a part of the overall learning experience. Knowledge is bliss. If anyone is interested is ways to calm down their child/children and/or give them focus then you should contact Miss Lisa at Jindo Martial Arts.

My little guy has special needs and is a handful!!! At Jindo, the staff is so patient and puts in the effort to work with him. There aren't many opportunities for kids with behavior issues, but Jindo welcomes my little guy with open arms! After a couple months, he's following along with the other kids, following instructions, and FITTING IN with his peers!! Jindo provides my son with a place to feel successful, which makes ME feel relaxed. They even have free coffee for parents. So, I even get a coffee break! How many moms of a special needs kid can say that? :)

We discovered Jindo Martial Arts 3 years ago when my oldest daughter spun a wheel and won a few free lessons. After seeing how much fun she had, I knew she'd finally found a fantastic extracurricular activity. Shortly after, her younger sister joined. After sitting on the side lines for a while, my husband and I decided to make some serious lifestyle changes, and hit the mats ourselves. We have grown a lot together, making martial arts a family affair. Jindo Martial Arts helps teach respect, integrity, and will grow your child's confidence. Even as an adult I feel more confident in myself and what I do-in and out of the dojang. The staff is amazing and supportive. I cannot imagine what I'd be doing without Martial Arts, and wouldn't want to train anywhere else.

Jindo offers a unique experience in martial arts training. Of course there is the necessary discipline and instruction of martial arts. However, Miss Lisa also provides a safe and positive environment for children and adolescents to be themselves and not only train but opportunities to socialize and to encourage each other inside and outside the training area. Jindo has been a part of my life since its inception and I am a proud parent of two Jindo students. The lessons learned can be utilized in life outside the facility. #1 best martial arts and life training in this area.
