Instructor Ron was very disrespectful and inappropriate towards a student in a sparring situation. He could have really hurt this student (A 12 year-old boy) which did result in this student having to be taken to the hospital. Instructor Ron repeatedly kicked this student in the chest to the point he was crying. Many other moms and dads who were present witnessed this happening and were very upset that the instructor took it to that level. If he is going to treat this student this way for accidentally kicking someone in an sparring competition, who is at a higher level, he will treat your child this way. PLEASE think twice before taking your child here, you don't want them being disciplined in such a way this student was for no good reason. He should not be teaching children of any age if this is how he is going to treat them. Google will not let me post this without clicking a star, please be aware that i am giving this place NO STARS because of this incident. They are not a welcoming or friendly place that I would personally take my child back to or recommend to others. Instructor Ron: First off, I was not misinformed of anything that happened that day. You on the other hand are misinforming others. Trying to pretend that you did not hurt a child and stating that you have never hurt a child is a LIE You did HURT a child, a 12 year old boy who had to go to the hospital after you thought it was okay to kick him repeatedly in the chest. What kind of martial arts instructor does that? I have many relatives and friends who have attended different types of martial arts and none of them were ever trained to hurt anyone. They were trained that it is an art and if you have to protect yourself than do so, but then get out of the situation and do not harm anyone. You chose to hurt a child, to teach him what a hard kick felt like in front of many witnesses. Do you think other's didn't see what you did? You cannot try to talk your way out of that, you did what you did and it was disgusting. You are just a bully and the people that you have writing your so called good reviews are just bully's also, because they must think it is okay for a grown man to kick a 12 year old boy when the boy didn't do anything wrong . It is laughable to see those people commend you, because I am sure if the roles were reversed and it was their child that you kicked repeatedly in the chest, they may not be singing your praises. You should be a man and admit what you did and take ownership. That is what a true master would do. I sincerely hope that you don't ever hurt another child and I sincerely hope someone reads my posts and does not come to your studio, because you should not be training kids. You don't even realize what damage you caused, but someday I hope you do!

When inexperienced people don't come to this school they do not understand how organized the teaching is. I have lived in 6 states and seen martial arts schools around the US and this is the best one yet. Everyone here is like family. I have 3 kids that go here and they love it so much they go everyday. From a man that travels around the US as a job I can a sure you that you will love it here. Champion will welcome you and your family as one of their own. Everyone here are not only friends but family as well. Disregard any rude and inappropriate reviews.

This martial arts school is one of few that actually care about teaching students rather than treating martial arts as a business. It hurts me to see schools treat martial arts in that way and it hurts me to see bad reviews on this place knowing the situation wasn't as described. Master Ron is an amazing instructor, probably one of the best I know, and I know many martial arts instructors. He knows exactly what he's doing at all times and all the kids love him. He treats them as his own and wouldn't do anything to hurt them.

Training at champion is a wonderful experience. Having watched multiple families exercise, grow, and gain the knowledge of taekwondo has been one of the most enjoyable things I have been witness to of my time at Champion. Senior Master Ron takes the time and his experience of well over 27 years to make sure each student is pushed to their limit with the respect, discipline, confidence, and self control that they should show everyday. Come try out this awesome school you won't be disappointed!

Ignore the troll "lie Detective Speak", I attended classes with Senior Master Ronald Galang many years ago. Himself, family, and other champion members are extremely helpful, caring, and patient. I would not think twice before recommending or choosing champions for martial arts training. Kudos to a great company and school!
