I attended a taster session and absolutely loved the class. Cailey is an excellent instructor and really focuses on real-world applications. This class offers cardio, strength training, sparring, self-defence techniques, and a generally fun and supportive environment. (Sadly, I couldn't sign up due to physiotherapy restrictions, but I highly recommend the class for anyone looking for a good workout and a way to stay safe)

The classes are suitable for people of all levels, always feels like you learn something new in class, plus it's a great workout! You can clearly see the Sensei is passionate about teaching the class and it rubs off on the instructors who are also super friendly and great teachers, the people at the club are extremely welcoming and it really is a great environment to learn and train. Highly recommended.

Bushin is brilliant. You learn skills there that could save your life. The classes are relaxed and you can move at your own pace. Give it a try, you won't regret it.

The way a lot of other people teach martial arts for self defence in Western coutries they take it for granted that anybody you come up against can't handle themselves which is not what traditional martial arts was about as people trained to be able to test their skills against other martial artists. They also teach you like dance moves steps which is unrealistic and in reality it is not going to go down like that and you're going to be in a fight. In Bushin you get taught all round skills and techniques to be able to fight which are of real practical use and to be able to take on people who also might have skills. The method of training is also very good and is suited from complete beginners to people who are already quite well trained but can't be going to work the next day with a black eye or busted nose like if you went to a MMA gym.
