Really great place and really powerful teaching by sensei. This is not one of those average dojo places to go. The art of aikido takes years if not eternity to perfect and sensei is very generous to explain subtlety of every move of this beautiful art.

I've been training at Toronto Aikikai for 15 years. Excellent place and atmosphere. As a woman, I've found Aikido very good to keep me in shape, strong and flexible. Easy access by subway, and there are many classes per week with different focus: basics, advanced techniques and weapons. Wonderful guidance from Robert Zimmermann, 7th Dan Shihan. Recommended!

I've been training at this dojo for over 6 years. Having visited multiple other dojos across North America (big and small), I can say that some of the finest aikido instructions are available here. Definitely recommend it to both beginners and advanced practitioners.

I am lucky that Zimmerman sensei and his students can visit South and Central America several times a year. In Venezuela particularly through invitation from our instructors in Maracay and other cities, we can have the opportunity for a closer training with Zimmerman sensei. These experiences are important for the constant growth, technically and in other ways, of the Aikido community in Venezuela.
