This Gym is AMAZING. The Kids Boxing classes have given my daughters a confidence that other activities just couldn't. The women's Kickboxing course is so much fun and a wicked work out that you look forward to getting there. Justin and his talented staff are GREAT. I would recommend Angry Monkey MMA to everyone.

By far the best MMA training facility in my experience. From the courteous and knowledgeable staff and coaches, to a variety of programs available from Muay Thai to cross-training, this gym offers you a well rounded experience. But then again the effort is all on you...and I guarantee you will see results of your labors as the coaches will put in their maximum efforts for you if you are willing to do the same. They have the tools available, why not take advantage of what they offer, You wont be sorry.

We're quite fortunate to have Angry Monkey in Verdun. I've trained in many places - it will be hard to find a gym more welcoming than this one. The facility has enough room to accommodate two classes simultaneously, great equipment, very clean and professional staff and coaches. If you're looking for a new place to train and call home, reviews alone won't convince you, so do yourself a favor and come try a free class.

I first started training at angry monkey a few weeks ago very anxious and excited but mostly anxious.. that changed the second the class started...I was welcomed with open arms as if I have been there my whole life. I’ve trained at other gyms before and this one is by far my favourite, for all levels. I recommend this place to anyone! I love AMMA

I really appreciate the teaching style at #AngryMonkeyMMA compared to other gyms I’ve been to because the coaches really teach you HOW to #fight, regardless of whether or not you really want to get in the ring. They require you to think about what you’re doing and why. It isn’t just about landing a hit, it’s about how to set up your opponent so you CAN land that hit. It’s intelligent. It makes students feel respected in their capacity to understand the strategy behind the #sport; and encourages us to take ownership of our progress. And if you’re looking to get your #workout on, in the process of learning how to fight – BELIEVE ME – you’ll get that too! You’ll get thrown into #training with people of different skill levels and all genders, and I love that. I don’t feel coddled because I’m a beginner and a girl, I feel respected and encouraged, not just by the coaches but by everyone at the #gym. There really is a great sense of community here.
