Don’t think you are too old to start. There are a few of us that started in our 50’s and are still going strong. BJJ is great for any age. You can challenge yourself and train for competition or just attend class to learn, have fun, and get a great workout. Steel City has really great instructors and has a very open and friendly atmosphere. If you are at all interested, then come on in and try a class. The hardest part of trying anything new is taking that first step.

Great group of BJJ instructors and fellow classmates. Various skill levels everywhere. New people are treated well.

The best thing I’ve ever done for myself!

Steel City Martial Arts has been nothing but a positive experience for my 5yr old son. The instructors are very good at what they do and are very hands on. If you are looking for a karate school that just advances you threw the ranks because you pay every month this is not the school for you. You have to earn your belt at Steel City. My son has been taking karate since he was three years old, but has learned so much more since he switched karate schools 6 months ago. If you want top notch instruction then go to Steel City and learn from the best.

My daughter attended another Martial Arts school for over 3 years and although she did not have a bad experience SSMA has been a far more superior experience. Her confidence has soared and she really loves to come to class. It's exciting and different every time. The instructors provide so much encouragement and positive reinforcement I would highly recommend it!
