Guilderland martial arts has been fantastic for our family. Master Rice has helped instill confidence in our two girls as well as provide them with many life lessons on the road to achieving their black belts. We have seen a dramatic change in our girls and were fortunate to find Guilderland Martial Arts. We could not recommend Master Rice and his team more highly.

My Family and I were very interested in finding a place to train for Tae Kwon Do and Self Defense. We had heard that many families had a lot of fun and bonding while they learned the art. From the first call to Mrs. Clark and Mater Rice they made me a 40 year old beginner feel right at ease. They made it super easy for me and my two daughters to strat in the same classes and learn the same skills. This gives us many rare opportunities as a family to compete, learn, and grow together as fellow students and not just dad and daughter. Master Rice has a great energy and will continue to work with you with humor and care while making it easy for you to get the ideas hes teaching. After school programs and state chamionchips and community involvement are also part of the experience. We even participate in a program where if the girls do their chores and respect themselves and others they earn "stars" that go onto their uniform and indicate superior character and growth within the family and at class. I would reccomend this activity to any family that is looking to excercise more and be closer as a family. Take it form me a 40 year old novice student , a old dog can learn new tricks, and have fun doing it. Thank you Master Rice !!!!!!
