TaeKwonDo, Champ Martial Arts is a family run business and it shines. My grandaughter has gone here for a few years now, she's six yrs old & loves it. Champ's has enhanced her life tenfold. Champs M A's is not just training; they teach discipline, humility, culture, fitness & health as-well-as community responsibility on so many levels with family as the forefront.

What a great family program. In this day being able to defend themselves is an extremely important tool for your kids to have and they can get it at there. Champs also promotes positive attitudes and treating other people with respect. So glad I found their summer program and can't wait until it's more convenient for our family to take them to the normal scheduled classes as well.

My wife and I had been looking to find a way to lose weight and get into shape. I had suggested martial arts since I had a positive experience with it in college, albeit brief. Together we decided on Champ Martial Arts, primarily because the scheduling could easily accommodate our busy lifestyles. It has been everything we asked for. We have achieved significant weight loss, become more active in our day to days lives, as well as received a self-esteem boost that we never expected. As adult students, we have felt welcomed and valued almost as family. Champ Martial Arts has been an amazing addition to our lives and one I would recommend to any adult looking for a new hobby, weight loss, or fun new way to get in shape.

As a previous instructor, I know this school inside and out. If you are a parent seeking child care or a foundation for your child's martial arts career, then Champ will provide a good starting point or at least an area where children can interact with other children. There are many students though and young staff, so keep in touch with staff to make sure your child's needs are being addressed. Also, the ratio of kids to staff is hard to manage for the staff, at times, so check up on your child to make sure things are going well on a daily basis. If you are serious about athleticism and martial arts, this school will not push you hard enough. That being said, it provides a good foundation for martial arts with which you can branch off of. From my perspective, martial arts are what you make them, and I did not work well in this facility, your child or you might, but trust your gut when it comes to choosing a school. Take trial lessons before committing, keep close check of your payments and progress, and speak up for yourself and family. Again, this school will not push you, so you must push yourself. I chose to leave, but I know it was a good place for me to begin my passion for martial arts.

The after school and summer camp options are fantastic. It's good to know that my kids are getting some exercise and martial arts training until I get off work. They're also willing to go above and beyond for us. Our school is going to be opening two weeks late this year due to the building not quite being ready, and not only are they extending the summer camp to cover for us working parents for that extra two weeks, but they're also making part of their new facility available to another summer camp program to help cover more kids who need a place to be for the extra two weeks.
