I remember growing up being a student of sensei Hioki's. I am glad to see he is still up and running . I would recommend this dojo and sensei to anyone.

Best physical and defensive training of my life. Sensei Hioki's dojo is run with mutual respect. No regrets!

I was just doing a delivery to this dojo. I engaged in a general conversation with Mr. Hioki. He struck me as a very considerate individual that I would never want to upset. He offered me an opportunity to try something outside my box. My daughter has been in karate for 8 years. She is amazing.

Polio crippled my hips and legs, but Sensei Hioki took me seriously. Training under him was one of the best experiences of my life. He was trained by the best to be one of the best. He is extraordinarily skillful knowledgeable, experienced, sensitive and supportive. If I ever go back to Phoenix, this is the school where I'd train. This is the teacher I would choose.

Sensei Hioki is a great teacher with so much knowledge. I have spent over 30 years practicing martial arts and it is a great privilege to find an instructor that I can continue to learn karate from. He is patient with my son and his classes are always a great workout. If you want to learn real Kyokushin karate than come train at Hioki Dojo!
