Though I do not train at Esteller Academy, I have had the opportunity to visit this Dojo and was greeted as a special guest, front and center on the matts and was provided a demonstration from the students. As a life long Marital Artist, this is one of the most Family Oriented, Professional places I've ever been in. What an amazing place and I've been blessed to have met these wonderful people. Ron was born to be a teacher and a leader, with high integrity and values. He has a powerful vision and flawless execution. These are not just students, they are family to him.

Me and my son trained here for about 2 years. I loved the fact the Sifu Ron, Sifu DJ and the Esteller Ohana emphasized the deep tradition in their art. The practical aspects and the traditional aspects were combined into a comprehensive art form that is both beautiful and useful. All the instructors were great. The kids classes weren't too overwhelming for my son. The adult classed were intense enough to challenge me. Im a big Martial Arts Enthusiast. There's is a strong sense of tradition taught in classes which I loved. To me martial arts is just that, an art, it's more then punching and kicking. Esteller MMA delivers on all fronts, instilling moral values with practical techniques.

I used to attend at a different school where I witnessed a woman testing for her black belt who was hit in the stomach by a beginning student. She fell down and cried and still got her black belt. I decided, that wasn't the school for me. I believe that belts are earned, that karate should be practical and useful in everyday life, that I should be able to defend myself and my family, as well as get a good workout. I have been at Esteller Martial Arts for over 8 years, I am a woman who is proud to say I earned my black belt, and now have a 4 year old daughter who studies karate. I love that she enjoys the class and is learning valuable, possibly life saving skills!
