This spot is the best MMA training gym you'll find in the Bay Area! if you want to learn some new skills - while also getting in shape - while also upping your self defense game - while also getting your stress out - while also channeling your inner Tony Jaa - while also being around a cool group of people who will encourage you and make you laugh - join already. Nick and his team of trainers are professional, skilled, and encouraging people who will help bring out the best in your ability. Some highlights that it is/has: - Beginner-friendly - Great instruction that balanced good exercise with good technique - An environment that is empowering to women, and/or had women's classes - Affordable prices/membership (Bay Area living, right?) - Instruction that focuses on helping you progress and become a better fighter (not just sweat it out for bikini season or some last ditch effort to try to finally get that six pack) - Awesome trainers that know how to push you and also help you nail down the details of the martial art - A diverse crowd that isn't overrun by jocks or meatheads Their classes cover everything - fundamentals, striking, women's classes, jiu jitsu, sparring, HIIT classes, all of it. If it wasn't for needing to make a living, I'd be at every single one of them.

Great work out and training for classes and private lessons with Nick. I love the women's class on Fridays at 6:30pm!

I really enjoy the classes at Bravo Zulu. The HITT strike fit on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s 6:30pm provide great strengthening and cardio exercises. The circuits were fun and challenging every time, and involved Muay Thai which I love. I also did the Muay Thai fundamental classes on Tuesday and Thursdays which were right after the strike fit classes. I was able to get one on training since I was new, partner work, and training on the bags. This was really fun and challenging as well and more technique focused. They have the women’s classes on MuAy Thai tues/thurs mornings which has been great for my work schedule. I enjoy the music, the coaching, the people, and having al the equipment and routines laid out for me (unlike 24 where it’s hard to get the weights and stuff I need or the space). I highly recommend!
