Update: After training here with Adam for over a year now, I enthusiastically update my review. The location moved from the old 'wonky spartan' facility, to the current place, and its a great upgrade! Fantastic clean place with amazing mats. Seriously, the amount of padding is just perfect. I moved to the bay area looking to continue my jiujitsu training and found elite team east bay as the most convenient location for me. After shopping around and dropping in at the other east bay bjj choices I found it to be the best fit as well and the price can't be beat! The location is a little wonky to find the first time and the facility spartan (perfectly functional and clean), but the small class sizes make it the hidden gem that it is. Tons of one on one time with the instructor if you want it! Adam is super accessible before, during, or after classes to answer any questions or go over anything you might need cleared up. Very welcoming and chill atmosphere--This is definitely not the 'hyper competitive alpha-male go until you puke with coaches yelling in your face' training environment. Super fun, amazing workout, huge confidence booster, great people. Constantly amazed that more people havnt picked up jiujitsu!
