I still agree with my review: I am a registered nurse with a master's degree, 2nd degree black belt, and a former student of these instructors (over 8 years of study) with an extremely bad experience. Use caution attending here. Be careful: One of these instructors broke my hand using bad technique during a seminar, and I had to drive myself to the hospital while they all took the visiting instructor to dinner - after giving me dirty looks as I had to sit out the rest of the seminar due to extreme pain. No one looked at my hand or offered help of any kind, and I was a dedicated, supportive student. Ask if your ranks are recognized outside this one dojo. Ladies, ask each other if the chief instructor is calling you at home, and/or "dating" any of you as some of you may have an unpleasant awakening. It is unethical for an instructor to have personal relationships with students as it may lead to favoritism or denial of promotion. Training more than 3x per week is overtraining. If you attend seminars, making friends with people who train elsewhere is one of the greatest joys of practicing Aikido - some of my most valued friends are from other dojos who I met at seminars and summer camp. Rules that deny talking to and befriending outside Aikidoists are not healthy. Be sure not to isolate yourself from family and friends outside this place - spend holidays with family and friends - they will give you perspective on what is okay and what may not be okay with what goes on at this dojo. When these instructors closed WLA Aikido Institute where I was a student, they first collected my dues for the month then shut the doors after one week - keeping my dues for the remaining three weeks without giving me a refund. It is my responsibility as a former student to educate others in these regards.

I have been attending classes here for the past six months and I highly recommend this Dojo. Pablo Vazquez and all the instructors are amazing, highly skilled teachers in the Art of Aikido. Very happy I joined

I've been practicing for two years at this dojo and I have to say that it has had a wonderful impact on my life and my two boys who practice with me. The dojo is professional and everything that you would expect to find in an excellent martial arts space. Most importantly, it is dedicated to promoting the art of Aikido through development of the individual. I can't tell you the wonderful transformations that have occurred before my eyes in those who have stayed with the practice. I see those same transformations in me and my two boys. ACI is truly a gem of a place that I highly recommend. The teachers are extremely dedicated and kind with many years of experience.

I started here a few months ago, and I really love it. I was really nervous at first, but the teachers are very patient with me, and the other students are really supportive. I enjoy the classes, and I've lost about 10 pounds, which isn't why I started, but it's good anyway! I recommend this dojo to anyone thinking about doing aikido, or any martial art.

Excelentes maestros y personas, amables, divertidos y muy amigables. No se puede pedir algo mejor que tener en una misma clase 4 Senseis 6to Dan al mismo tiempo.
