Every hour I train I always learn something new, it never fails. I trained in Thailand and have been around many gyms around the bay area. Ryan is hands down better than some trainers in Thailand! I normally never leave reviews for business but I like this gym so much it deserves one.

If you’re looking to train in Muay Thai, I highly recommend T2. Ryan, the owner/trainer, is patient and has extensive experience in the sport and in teaching. He pushes you to train hard, but is incredibly encouraging. He’s also a super nice guy and totally down-to-earth. You may catch him gushing about his love for Dave Matthews Band. Class sizes tend to be small, so you’ll get a lot of personal attention. Workouts vary by the day, so you won’t get bored! You’ll probably sweat a lot, though. I’ve trained at three different gyms in my lifetime and can sincerely say that the other students at T2 are some of the nicest martial arts practitioners I’ve had the pleasure of working with. As a woman in a predominantly-male sport, I’m always a little wary about getting ego or machismo when I join a gym. I have yet to experience any at T2. It’s quite refreshing. You aren’t required to spar if you aren’t comfortable. There is a specific class each week dedicated to sparring, so if you want to and feel ready, you can attend. At the same time, if you’re training to compete, Ryan can help you towards that goal. Positive environment, great workout, even better stress release. I look forward to training each time I go.

Highly recommend. Comparing with other trainers, Ryan is much more involved in the class.

It’s not Muay Thai if everyone trains with their shirts on

A very technically sound gym that does not hide behind endless cardio.
