Iconic karate studio that adds to the richness of Los Angeles. My kids and I have trained here for nearly 10 years. Each and every class is very intense and focuses on building skills at every level. Everything starts out with a complete explanation and I always learn something new. Beyond building karate skills, regular training here strengthens the body and mind. Many highly skilled members train regularly, and visitors from around the world often come here to train.

Everyone who trains karate should train in Sensei Avi's dojo at least once in their life!

It has been wonderful experience for my kid working with Avi/Ruth and she is always energetic whenever she hear that we are taking her to Karate class. The past one year has taught her so much and the credit goes to both of you. Also Avi/Ruth take personal efforts on each kids to make sure they are comfortable.

Have trained here for over 18 years. I have trained with some of the better known senseis before Avi Rokah, and nothing comes close. Incredible knowledge and a safe, comfortable atmosphere. Cannot recommend highly enough. Ben Bar

I'd been practicing karate for many years with various teachers. Until I was introduced to sensei Rokah by a past teacher. Learning with sensei Rokah is not ONLY martial art, it is also the art of life. Sensei Rokah is a teacher that CAN NOT be replicated. This place is a gem that you need to discover.
