Everyone who trains here is really friendly and supportive. The team strives to create a welcoming environment with a range of classes and talented yet also patient teachers. I think it especially shows through classes like the women's only kickboxing fitness. I'm exercising more than I thought I would because it's just a fun place to be!

Westside is an amazing place to train jiu jitsu with world class instructors that are both very patient and attentive whatever your skill level is. Duke DD Isaac Tino and Jose all are excellent teachers and have helped me lose a lot of weight and feel healthier in general. I highly recommend training here both for its efficiency in training as well as safety in general all the members are really nice and welcoming.

I've been a martial artist for over twenty years and have been taught by the best. I was curious about BJJ so I took a class and got hooked! The instructors are top notch and the classes are incredibly well run. My whole family is involved, which is extremely rewarding. And everyone I've met there has been fantastic. I can't recommend Westside Training enough!

You come here because of the Groupon and end up staying because of the environment. The instructors do their best to help not only provide challenging courses, but they also ensure that you have the appropriate form and techniques. The groups are usually no more than 10-15 people so the regular tend to have laughs at one another while welcoming new individuals into the mix. It's more of a dojo and less of a gym for those who are curious. Overall, I think of it as contributing my portion to keep the place going and have a spot where I can gradually improve my fitness as well as fighting abilities.

I've been coming here for almost 2 years and I can't get enough. In fact, on a typical week, you can find me here 6 days a week for both the kickboxing/kettlebell and the BJJ classes. As someone who finds it difficult to motivate myself when it comes to exercising, I appreciate the great instruction and welcoming atmosphere. Everyone is so nice, and there is no ego. I highly recommend this as a place to get a workout unlike any you've gotten at a traditional gym.
