I never felt completely comfortable here and the regulars are a click. There are some genuinely nice people and the instruction is good. Their monthly rates are probably the best anywhere. Overall a good place to train BJJ

I first started training shotokan karate here in June an absolutely fell in-love with the dojo. The instructor is extremely helpful and patient. The fellow karate practitioners are super friendly and extremely supportive. As an active female in this dojo, I can attest that there is no male bravado and there are many strong women in this dojo. Everybody at VMAC is friendly and serious about their karate training. I am very fortunate and happy that I am able to be a part of this incredible community!

A friend of mine asked me to join him at this new karate dojo he'd been going to. I tried it out, and loved it! When I first got there, there were only 5 of us, but because of the great people, family-like vibe, and an incredible world class teacher, the place soon grew to dozens! I now feel deadly and friendly all at once. No joke - this place made my life better!

Great place to workout and have fun! I found this place when I was looking for somewhere to get some exercise (for cheap!) in the Valley. This place is fun, friendly and everyone treats it like a family. It doesn't matter if you've never seen a dojo in your life, the instructors are great and everyone is supportive and encouraging. I found a new sport, a great way to get in shape and a ton of new friends. I highly recommend :)
