This is a great place to take your kids and it's in a nice safe neighborhood. I have a six and seven year old and there are always plenty of other kids for them to play with here. There is also a large grass field to play soccer or whatever you like and two nice play structures to climb on and swings for smal kids but not for older kids. What I like best is there is a nice basketball court and my kids love the fact that there is a paved little road that goes all around the park so they can practice writing their bikes. This would be a perfect part if you are trying to teach your child how to ride a two-wheeler bike. We have fun here even when we show up late still usually are some kids left and the parents are very friendly and I have made friends here a few times too!

My three kids look forward to this class each week! They get a great workout & learn valuable lessons in respect, compassion, community, and confidence. Master Duncan learns all his students' names. I find this impressive as two of my kids are identical twins. :) He follows through with all directions and instills a sense of pride in the kids, all while having a very positive, often comical approach. Lomita Park is an ideal location and the price is economical, comparatively speaking. $40 Residents/$45 Non-Residents for nine weeks of lessons. Testing happens at the end of each session. Other students join testing to cheer on fellow students. Great environment!!

We have a special place in our heart for this place. Master Duncan is AWESOME. He is such a great mentor and instructor. His teachings, examples, instruction and discipline are extraordinary, as is his organization. This is a wonderful place to learn, improve, reflect, and memorize, all while having fun and getting some good exercise in. Thank you Lomita Park Soo Bahk Do and Master Duncan and his other instructors and helpers!

I have the pleasure of knowing Master Joshua Duncan for over 20 years. He is a fantastic practitioner and an even better teacher of the art. His students are well prepared and always perform great at tournaments. If you want your kids to learn from someone that is dedicated and caring like Master Duncan, then Lomita is the place to send your children too.
