Our son started at Mudo at age 3, and Ms. Sundeen was incredibly patient and talented in teaching. He has flourished at Mudo, and it has helped immensely with his gross motor skills, not to mention giving him confidence, teaching patience, and respect for others. He really loves it. The instruction is age appropriate and moves along in nice varied segments to keep the children engaged and learning. All of the staff there are very dedicated and committed. We could not be more pleased with our experience at Mudo and highly recommend it to anyone looking to begin martial arts for their children.

After checking a few martial arts studios, I finally felt comfortable to put my 7 year old daughter in MuDo Integrated Martial Art. A big reason is the super friendly and professional staff, as well as Master Lee’s guidance. A few months into my daughter’s training, I decided to sign up myself as well, for both regular class, as well as Fitness Class! MuDo Fitness is great for somebody who want a good workout without getting into martial arts. It’s a great place to train your body and mind. Highly recommended.

We have a 7 year old daughter and 5 year old son enrolled and they both love it! It's been a joy to see their confidence and form improve the past couple years. The instructors strike the right balance of discipline and fun. Each class has a mix of fitness, discipline, form practice and an obstacle course at the end. The kids love all the instructors and student aid instructors. Everyone is so friendly, knowledgeable and respectful. The belt progression is well structured and documented, with bite-sized stripe levels so that kids can feel proud of their progress every step of the way. The school also offers great summer camps. Each day is a good mix of practice and fun (arts & crafts, movie, obstacle course). Highly recommended for all ages.

My son has been going since July of this year and he have seen him gain confidence in helself. I am so happy we found this place. I went here because it’s so close to our house but I can’t imagine him going any where else.

We were referred to MuDo by another family whose son has taken lessons there for years. I took my 12-year-old son there for a trial lesson, and half way through he was so enthusiastic, he asked me to please sign him up immediately. We are relative newcomers to MuDo, but in two months I see that my son has already begun to learn valuable life lessons within his study of martial arts: respect, consistency, discipline, and hard work rewarded. The structure of the classes is very clearly laid out, and the students are provided a handbook with guidelines to help them. At the same time, their class schedule is wonderfully flexible. My son has had the opportunity to work with Master Yi and all the instructors, and he truly enjoys working with each of them. They are serious in their approach and challenging; they command respect, but are very fair and excellent teachers. The students also get a good amount of individual attention. My son cannot wait to go back each week -- he loves it! I'm so pleased to have discovered this place. It has a great community of families. We very highly recommend MuDo - it is truly an excellent martial arts school.
