Good place for kids to learn Taekwondo

Dec 13, 2012
I train at Jung SuWon and I swear it is the most awesome training ever. I have trained in many other martial art schools before and I personally have never encountered any type of training like Jung SuWon offers. The school doesn't just have you train for 2 years and get your belt. They actually teach you properly, let you learn at your own pace so you can truly learn how to defend yourself and have a healthy, active and exciting lifestyle. I personally come train after I finish school and work, the training just allows me to let go of the stress and the tension that I have built up throughout my day and actually allow my day to be much better than it was before the Jung SuWon class. The school is filled with students of all ages and also is filled with instructors. I get one on one attention a lot only because there is a lot of instructors there to work with me and help me grow. They have all been training for 15+ years, it is incredible that they come and help teach and really share the spirit and the energy of Jung SuWon. I love Jung SuWon and I love training. I personally recommend it for everybody!

Hello to any one reading this review. The people here are more concentrating on selling their stuff more than teaching kids. All the reviews written below are from people who teach their. The worst of all they are very un polite when it come to the point of some one giving them a review after they ask for one. They are about money, not teaching the art. Even though they claim they want to teach the art and are not looking for business. From past 4 months my kid is going to this intuit and had learned only one form so far. They don't even give proper instructions. It's like just go their and so some time pass. I don't know what I am going to do with this stuff that I got. I think I will just discard it. A total waste of my money and time most of all.

After training at Jung Suwon for a year, I was not too impressed with my progress. I do beleive the black belts care about their training and are not bad with children. This is not a place for me, but it could be for you. I may not share the same views as the founder, but try it out and see what you think. Bottom line is that it did not work for me. Everyone should have the chance to find out for themselves. Their emphasis is on kids, and to be fair, my kids had a good time there. Bottom line was that they were safe.
