Stan has turned an introvert teen into a confident, humble, and extrovert teen. He’s great with Adults, Teens, and Children. This school is a hidden gem. Worth every penny.

This is an excellent, traditional Chinese Kenpo dojo and Master Tuscano teaches with great expertise and infinite patience. Open hand and weapons training is available to all students, plus there is an almost unlimited array of weights and other gym equipment to work out on! A wonderful training experience!

I started attending Iron Dragon's Cane self defense program in October of 2015. I live in Woodland, almost an hour away. I thoroughly enjoy these classes and here's why: 1. Stan Toscano, the owner and master instructor, is inspiring. He is very attentive and places a great deal of emphasis on safety. He really knows his stuff and skilfully adjusts the material to students' individual abilities and limitations. And he's got a great, gentle sense of humor. 2. The facility is spotlessly clean, well lighted and well equipped. It is really a complete fitness center with all of the weight and aerobic equipment of a regular gym in addition to the large central martial arts mat area. 3. The cane program is thoughtfully designed for seniors(although anybody can use it). It combines flexibility and strength exercises for improving fitness, with practical self-defense techniques, all based around the cane. Mr. Toscano stresses the importance of staying aware and away from trouble. 4. The other students are congenial and helpful. It's a family business and it feels that way. I have found this program so well organized and thought out that I have made it the core of my daily fitness routine.
