Great environment, no egos, kids and family friendly!

May 25, 2016
Stopped in to check out the kids class with my son and daughter. The kids in the class enjoyed themselves and they had about 3-4 instructors for approx 20 students. Very family oriented environment. We will be looking to move to the next step in joining.

I got the opportunity to train at the school and everyone was very nice and helpful. They all made me feel welcome and I learned a lot. Thank you Leo for being nice to me and also all the instructors that shared their knowledge with me. I would recommend this school to anyone who is looking for a good friendly environment and great quality in their jujitsu

I cannot believe that I'm the first person to review Aloisio Silva BJJ! I have trained / competed in there is martial arts and specifically BJJ in Brazil, Seattle, and a few countries in SE Asia, and I have never ever ever trained anywhere that was better than training with Aloisio Silva and his family members. It is amazing how this man has been able to raise A family of instructors that are humble, talented, And very very skilled at instructing. I have never met anybody more patient and gifted at teaching then Aloisio Silva, and he passed these traits onto his children who also teach at the Academies. I spent a few great years training w/ them, and if I still lived in Los Angeles I would definitely be training there! Their academies are especially effective with young people, Women who want to know self-defense, and driven individuals who want to be made into champions. I have personally seen him make many people into champions! Something unique is that Aloisio is not A particularly large man so he had to develop a lot of unique strategies that involve an out-of-the-box type of leveraging technique, and he passes this on to his students. When I first met him I was training somewhere else but he talked a couple seminars and I saw that his techniques were more effective so I switched and started training with him exclusively. Champions, law enforcement, and military experts fly and drive in from all over the place and drive hours to train at that academy with Joao, Patricia, and Aloisio. You would have to be an idiot not to train their if you live in Southern California!
