My nieces attend Dragon's Den and have been there for under a year. It is truly a family environment. If you attend, you are family. The instructors are so friendly, professional, and absolutely fantastic with the kids. The kids are always smiling and having fun but the instructors keep it serious. There is zero tolerance for goofing off or not paying attention. Discipline is extremely important and a very high priority. Even parents are kept in line. No crazy little league dads here. Respect for the art and history of kajukenbo and it's founders, elders, and instructors is paramount. Respect is mandatory. The kids walk out of there after every class with giant smiles and beaming with confidence and pride, yet very humble. The classes are tough, it is physical at times, and kids do get hurt on occasion but I am so grateful for that because it is all done under a completely controlled environment and everything is supervised 100% which prepares the kids for tournaments (and the playgrounds at school). Dragon's Den is turning kids into responsible, respectful, happy, and confident yet humble young people and preparing them for the real world. It is providing kids with ample amounts of self-esteem. Dragon's Den is one of the best investments you could ever make for your children.

My wife and I have been attending Kajukenbo classes for over three months and I have attended at least three martial arts school before over 4 years, and I have to say Dragon's Den is the best school thus far. The facilities are always clean and well maintained. The staff are always friendly. The instructors are extremely knowledgeable and professional. The other practitioners are great, they are not afraid to hit but also practice excellent control. I have been in other schools were other practitioners would kick you in the knee almost on purpose, not at the Dragon's Den. The school really shows the Ohana spirit. Lastly, I feel the practice making me a stronger person and have stronger confidence. Great place!

I have 10+ years of experience training in the martial arts, so I was highly selective when I started looking at schools for my children. Several of my patients recommended Dragon's Den to me, and I was struck by how they were all so humble, respectful, and grounded. Both of my daughters and my wife have been training here for several years. All of the instructors do a wonderful job of promoting a healthy, family-oriented atmosphere that is mutually supportive and brings out the best in each student. When my oldest daughter first started, she was very shy and tentative. She even faked a stomach illness once to get out of a ballet practice. After training at Dragon's Den, I've seen a tremendous change in her self-confidence and how she carries herself. The first time she volunteered to demonstrate a form solo in front of the class, I could hardly believe it. Now, she practices by herself before school without being asked because she wants to compete in tournaments. It's a family business in the truest sense of the word. They make their students feel accepted and safe as part of the Dragon's Den ohana.(family) The self-defense training is top notch, but they're not just teaching their students to be great martial artists; they're helping them to realize their potential as better people.

I've attended this school for the past 6 years...training in everything from Kajukenbo, to Muay Thai, to Boxing, MMA fighting, Escrima, Kickboxing, fitness training and self defense and the material is great, but the people are even better. From day one the whole environment felt like a big family and it didn't take long to feel like I was part of it...six years later I keep coming back to train everyday because all the instructors show me that they have a vested interest in my well being and my progression in the sport. I've been to other facilities, but none compare to the Dragon's Den.
